Location guide

Every MapGuesser game deals locations from one catalog. The catalog holds cities, famous landmarks, and natural wonders from all seven continents. This guide lists the whole catalog.

Browse by continent to study one region. Browse by type to see only cities, only landmarks, or only natural wonders. Every list groups its locations by difficulty level, from world famous places to expert-only obscurities.

6048 locations in the catalog: 5578 cities, 301 landmarks, and 169 natural wonders.

How difficulty works

Every location carries a difficulty level from 1 to 8. Level 1 places are world famous, and most players find them. Higher levels mix in smaller cities, lesser known landmarks, and remote natural wonders. Daily games deal a spread of levels, so each game starts easy and ends hard.
